[_The Burning Bed_](https://www.retroreport.org/video/the-case-that-changed-how-the-country-thought-about-domestic-violence/) examines the case of Francine Hughes, a battered woman charged with her husband’s murder, but eventually freed after a public outcry. While her case spurred stronger protections, millions of women a year are abused by a partner.

[_She Rocked the Pentagon_](https://www.retroreport.org/video/the-legacy-of-tailhook/), produced by Karen M. Sughrue as part of Retro Report on PBS has won a Military Reporters & Editors Journalism Award in the television category.

[_Coronavirus Reignites a Fight Over Rights of Detained Migrant Children_](https://www.retroreport.org/video/detained-migrant-children-and-the-decades-long-legal-battle-to-protect-them/)_,_ which examines the Flores Settlement — a decades-old agreement that dictates how migrant children held in federal custody should be treated — has been named a Webby Award honoree.

We are nominated for two News & Documentary Emmy Awards! [_Operation Ceasefire_](https://www.retroreport.org/video/operation-ceasefire-inside-a-communitys-radical-approach-to-gang-violence/), released in collaboration with _The New Yorker,_ was nominated for Outstanding Editing and [_Future of Aging_](https://www.retroreport.org/video/looking-forward-to-retirement-is-a-thing-of-the-past/), released in collaboration with _Quartz,_ was nominated for Outstanding Business, Consumer or Economic Report.
