Lesson Plan: Future of Food
Grades 6-12
The history of food centers on soil and agriculture. The future of food likely does as well. Farmers, scientists and government leaders have to weigh economic and environmental concerns when deciding how to use land to feed communities and make money. This lesson will look at agricultural challenges and revolutions in history. Students will analyze decisions that farmers are making today to combat climate change and other environmental challenges.
