Amanda holds a BA in history and an MAE in history/social science from Truman State University where she was able to do her student teaching internship on a US Army post in Bamberg, Germany. She has taught world history, US history, and political science from a remedial through college level along with electives in American Womenโs History and World Religions. In addition to teaching at LHS, she is the district social studies curriculum chair and the co-president of Lebanon NEA. She has extensive experience working on state-wide assessments in Missouri and has presented at NCSS twice.
