Amanda holds a BA in history and an MAE in history/social science from Truman State University where she was able to do her student teaching internship on a US Army post in Bamberg, Germany. She has taught world history, US history, and political science from a remedial through college level along with electives in American Womenโ€™s History and World Religions. In addition to teaching at LHS, she is the district social studies curriculum chair and the co-president of Lebanon NEA. She has extensive experience working on state-wide assessments in Missouri and has presented at NCSS twice.
