Allie is a tenured teacher at Taft High school, teaching AP Government & Civics and has experience in a wide variety of other social science courses. She attended American University for her undergraduate degree and Northwestern for her Master’s in Education. She is a James Madison fellow and has participated in a wide range of professional development institutes and fellowships, including Gilder Lehrman, Supreme Court Institute from the ABA/FJC, Street Law, USS Midway, the National Constitution Center and Mount Vernon. She has presented on behalf of the NCC, News Literacy Project and the James Madison Memorial Fellowship Foundation at conferences and has facilitated or led professional development for The Constitutional Democracy Project and National Constitution Center. She briefly served as organizer for the Center for Civic Education in Illinois.
