As we approach the 25th anniversary of 9/11, how do we teach this history to students who didn’t live through it?

When: August 27th, 5:30 – 7:30 pm

Where: Retro Report’s office at 633 Third Avenue, 16th Floor in Midtown East, Manhattan

Join Retro Report and The New York Historical for the screening of a new short film about the Children’s Discovery Center, a daycare located in the World Trade Center complex. On the morning of Sept. 11, 2001, teachers and staff evacuated nearly 30 infants and toddlers from Ground Zero, eventually reuniting them with their families.

Retro Report’s director of Education, David Olson, will conduct a discussion and Q&A with guest speakers who lived through 9/11. You will take home free classroom-ready resources from The New York Historical and Retro Report. Light refreshments will be served.

Seating is limited. Click below to R.S.V.P.
