More than 350 educators from across 44 states, the District of Columbia and beyond will join Retro Report this year as advisors. These professionals will  provide feedback and guidance to expand and sharpen Retro Reportโ€™s documentary videos, lesson plans, webinars and professional development opportunities. Working alongside educators to create informed, relevant resources is an essential element of Retro Reportโ€™s mission of producing trustworthy, compelling journalism and classroom materials  infused with historical contex, all available free at www.RetroReport.org.

โ€œWe thrive on teacher input,โ€ said David Olson, Retro Reportโ€™s director of education. โ€œThere is no better way for us to serve teachers than to hear directly from them, and we are incredibly proud and grateful to be working with this group. We canโ€™t wait to learn from their expertise and experience.โ€

David Olson, Director of Education

This year, Retro Reportโ€™s Council of Educators is composed of 25 teachers of Social Studies, U.S. History, English, Environmental Science and other subjects. This group will guide the creation of new lessons and activities to accompany Retro Report documentary videos, and will test them in classrooms and provide feedback.ย
